The school was judged as a good school in all areas and outstanding in EYFS and for behaviour and safety.

Leaders have been strategic and effective in supporting improvements in teaching. Robust monitoring and strong training opportunities for teachers have led to improvements in pupils' outcomes.  Pupils make good progress in reading, writing and mathematics. This means that a high proportion reach the expected standards for their age in these areas and an increasing proportion exceed these standards. Teaching is engaging, with skilled questioning encouraging better oral communication from pupils. Questioning and other checks made in pupils' books are used well to inform planning by teachers, meaning that pupils' needs are met closely. Pupils' conduct is excellent. They are self- motivated and do their very best at all times of the day. This is the case during playtime and lunchtime, as well as when they are in lessons. They display very positive attitudes to learning. The curriculum is strong and has contributed to the improvements in school. In particular, it has supported very positive behaviour and engagement in learning.’  Ofsted June 2017.
