Salary details: Grade 9 £15,713 - £17,624 (Actual salary)

Doncaster Council is looking for a talented Communications and Engagement Officer to join a small team that will work on all communications for the Place Directorate.
With a primary focus on the investment and business face of the council, you will be responsible for showcasing major developments in the borough and promoting Doncaster as place to live, work and visit. You will be required to work across all communications disciplines including media relations, press marketing, PR, advertising, digital communications, web and social media and must be a versatile team player.
You must be self-motivated and have the ability to drive creativity and innovation as well as adapting to changing priorities in a deadline driven environment. You should also have the skills to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences including internal and external stakeholders, partners and senior colleagues. You must also be able to handle several projects at once.
A track record of delivering complex and varied integrated communications campaigns and projects is essential alongside experience of advising senior management/members on key or crisis communications matters.
