This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery and development of the Knowledge, Library & Information Service at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated and customer services orientated individual to join our team, to provide a wide range of library services to NHS staff, students and patients.

You will be based primarily at our Doncaster Royal Infirmary site working 15 hpw (Monday, Thursday and Friday), though occasionally you will be expected to cover the service at our other sites.

The post holder would be responsible for carrying out general library duties, including dealing with document and book requests, handling general enquiries, providing assistance to library users and be involved with promotional and outreach activities and must be willing to undertake further training and development as required while in post.

An ability to work both in a team and alone is essential, along with the ability to prioritise workloads and work well under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent communication and IT skills are also essential to this role as is experience of searching on the internet and using electronic resources and databases.
