We are looking for an enthusiastic and suitably qualified librarian to contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and high quality knowledge and library service at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Working 20 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday) as a member of the Knowledge, Library & Information Service team, your role will be to provide a Clinical and Outreach knowledge and library service to the staff and students of Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust alongside our other Clinical/Outreach Librarian. We also provide knowledge and library services to other partner organisations.

You will work closely with your colleagues in delivering a high quality service to both clinical and corporate staff and develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with other colleagues in the Education & Training, Research and Quality, Innovation & Improvement departments at the Trust.

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and organisational skills who has the ability to organise, plan and prioritise their own workload to meet deadlines and service needs. You should have experience of literature searching using quality, evidence based resources; delivering current awareness services and planning, delivering e-resource training. Knowledge and experience of using healthcare resources and the NICE Evidence portal is essential. You will be based primarily at Doncaster Royal Infirmary but will also be expected to work at other sites as required. The Trust provides regular shuttle bus services between its sites.
