We are currently seeking to appoint an ICT Infrastructure Manager to be responsible for managing and inspiring a specialist ICT team.  The successful applicant will lead the strategic direction of the Council’s ICT infrastructure, with key accountability for networks and telephony, security and email, server and desktop, storage and virtualisation delivering a clear roadmap and plan from an enterprise and operational perspective.  They will also provide specialist technical support to ensure the successful deployment of projects whilst delivering a highly effective ICT service. 

You will manage technical support teams covering a wide range of technical disciplines and specialisms, as well as working as part of the ICT Management Team, engaging with customers and stakeholders in order to ensure that the Councils ICT service is well-managed, customer focused, modern, streamlined and efficient in delivering excellent value for money. This post will support the Head of ICT in the overall delivery of ICT to ensure the organisation functions technically 24/7 to deliver critical services to the people of Doncaster.

The right candidate will have the ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines, while delivering service excellence to our customers, have experience of managing complex ICT budgets and also the ability to work in an agile way in the delivery of ICT projects.
