Having recently redesigned our MAT central finance function, we are excited to be recruiting to this brand new role in our team. We are looking for a professional, diligent and enthusiastic individual to become our Purchase to Pay Officer.
The successful applicant will bring experience of working in procurement with a demonstrable understanding of financial systems and processes. Working closely with the Chief Finance Officer and our family of schools, the successful applicant will have a strengths-based focus and a clear understanding of effective customer service.
Nexus MAT was formed in 2016 and has academies across South Yorkshire. We are a member organisation of the South Yorkshire Pension Scheme which all non-teaching staff are enrolled into and we are proud to be a flexible employer. Our terms and conditions mirror those of local authorities, and a full time equivalent staff member on this band has the benefit of 22 days’ annual leave per year, increasing to 27 after 5 years of continuous service (which is transferrable from local authority). Bank holidays are in addition to this, plus 3 concessionary days.
The post holder will be required to work flexibly across all settings in the Multi Academy Trust.
