Responsible to: The Head Teacher and Assistant Head Teacher for Inclusion

Hours: term time – 27.5 hours per week

We are looking to appoint a passionate and proactive Inclusion Support Officer to join our dedicated Thrive team. You will play a key strategic role in assisting the Headteacher and SLT in creating a culture of inclusion where all children have access to the curriculum they need in order to meet their potential 

The Senior Inclusion Practitioner will:

  • Promote and develop the Thrive provision within school so that emotional and social learning for children is good.
  • Establish and maintain strong links between parents/carers and external agencies
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, particularly the Inclusion Leader/AHT and SENCo to assist and effectively contribute to the promotion, direction and ethos of educating the whole child.
  • Support children to learn in and out of the classroom

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a DBS check, have relevant references and health clearance, an understanding of child protection issues will be addressed at interview.
