We are seeking: 

  • An excellent practitioner who is competent in literacy and numeracy and holds relevant Teaching Assistant/Nursery Nurse qualifications.
  • Has experience of working within a Foundation Stage school setting
  • Is able to work as part of a team in a lively learning environment
  • Someone who puts children’s welfare and education at the forefront of their practice
  • Have an up to date knowledge of pupils specific needs, including behaviour management and use appropriate support strategies to ensure pupils inclusivity e.g. Team Teach approach and de-escalation strategies as per training. 

Duties will include: 

  • Working with EYFS pupils supporting learning and to support a 1-1 pupil with special educational needs when needed               
  • Assistance for teachers including administrative tasks. Preparing resources, displaying work, organising the classroom and outdoor learning duties
  • Provide specialist support to individual pupils including feeding, changing, general hygiene issues and other personal and intimate care as necessary.
