In this post, you will make a significant contribution to improving the life chances of all Doncaster’s children through ensuring effective partnership working between schools.  You will be part of a directorate and standards and effectiveness  team who are outcome focused and committed to making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people.  This is an influential role, embedded within the school improvement and inclusion strategies, and you will lead the development of key elements of the Learning aspect of the Doncaster Growing Together programme, including supporting the work of the Social Mobility Opportunities Area, University Technical College, Higher Education Strategy and Post 16 Review.

You will lead the development and challenge of underperformance across all secondary and post 16 settings with a particular focus on schools requiring support and challenge.  You will undertake a significant school improvement role through analysing standards and effectiveness of provision in secondary academies and Post 16 provision and managing high-impact intervention strategies. A key element of this role is developing and promoting best practice around teaching and learning and developing and promoting innovative leadership strategies in secondary academies.
