Tornedale Infant School
37 hours per week Monday to Friday + overtime as and when required.
Required from late July 2018 (or soonest date available).
The Headteacher and Governors of Tornedale Infant School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient, flexible, friendly and reliable Site Supervisor to maintain the building and grounds and oversee security at Tornedale Infant School in Rossington.
There is a bungalow available to rent on site if the successful applicant is interested but this is not an essential requirement of the job.
Reporting to the School Business Manager, the responsibilities will include minor repairs/ maintenance works; security; cleaning of a specified area, as well as all aspects of Health and Safety reviews.
Security is a key responsibility and the successful applicant will have the responsibility for opening the school buildings and gates as well as checking and securing the premises subsequent to any out of hours intruder alarm activation at the end of the day.
The Site supervisor will have responsibility for any evening and weekend lettings (for which an additional payment will be made).
Necessary qualities include confidentiality, efficiency, good communication skills and a pride and willingness to contribute to the continued improvement of our school.
Experience of general maintenance, plumbing and DIY would be an advantage.
