Hours of work: 15 hours per week, from 3:00pm-6:00pm Monday-Friday (potential lettings in addition to these hours-not weekends). This vacancy is not term time only.
Hayfield Lane Primary School is seeking to appoint a caretaker to commence in January 2019 or sooner. We require a person with a flexible approach to provide an efficient and effective caretaking service.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the general care and maintenance of the school building, grounds and related energy factors. The main duties will involve:-
The role requires a willingness to be involved as part of the school team, committed to providing good working conditions for the staff and children of the school.
The post holder will be expected to take the majority of their leave during school holidays (other than 2 weeks) and any absence (other than sick leave) must be agreed with the Head Teacher/Business Manager giving 1 months’ notice.
